I write to tell you about the Mayor’s fundraising event being held to celebrate International Women’s Day.  The purpose of the event is to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women in our community.  Funds raised will go towards the two charities I have chosen to support during my Mayoral term: Reading Community Learning centre (RCLC) and Reading Prostate Cancer Support Group.
The event is being held on Thursday 6th March 2025 at 6.30pm at the Town Hall, Blagrave Street, Reading, RG1 1QH.  Tickets for this event can be bought here.
