THANK YOU EMAILS FROM READING CIVIC SOCIETY AND TERRY DIXON

May I add my thanks to the Reading Rotary Club for the donation to the Reading Civic Society Blue Plaque Scheme.

We have spent a couple of years researching the approaches taken by other societies, developed documentation for a scheme and tested / evaluated potential plaque ideas.

We are now moving forward steadily to test during the summer the planned scheme, and its approach, with a small group who have not been so far involved.

The aim during the Autumn is to actively consider / evaluate a long list of existing ideas and nominations from members of the public for new BPs and get on with some installations.  I will let you know how it goes.

Best wishes

I have been informed that a transfer has been made into RCS Bank account from Reading Rotary Club as a donation for the lunchtime Talk, I did for you all on Tuesday 14th April.

Penny Kemp (RSC Treasurer) , informs me it is £250, received today.

This is a very generous donation, that is very much appreciated, thank you so much!

Kind Regards

THANKS, WITH AN INVITATION FROM WYFOLD RDA
Please see note below :

Hi John

Back in January, Reading Rotary very generously donated towards our Wyfold Room refurb, after Tom and I visited you at the House of Flavors and told you all about our riding for the disabled group.

Thank you once again, for your generosity.

3 months later, the job is complete and we are celebrating with a grand opening on the 12th of June at 1pm.

We wondered if you would like to come and celebrate with us.  It will be a glass of something fizzy, some cake (RDA is fueled on cake), a ribbon cutting and we are hoping the Mayor and Deputy Mayoress of Henley will be joining us along with local press

Do let me know how you are fixed as it would be a great opportunity to show you how your generous donation was spent!

Thanks

Diane

THANKS, AND AN INVITATION FROM PACT

Dear Janet

Please accept my thanks for my invitation to the Reading Rotary lunch on Tuesday.  I received such a warm welcome and there were some great questions after my talk.  I hope everyone found it interesting and informative.

If a group would like to visit Alana House, I would be very happy to make arrangements.  The cafe is held on Thursday mornings from 10am-12pm.  We could take a group of up to five people and it's a wonderful way to really get a feel for what we do.

All the best

Sarah

THANKS, FROM READING KOREAN SCHOOL

Dear Janet,
I trust you are well.
Although I have already expressed our gratitude to Mr. L. Green, I wanted to officIally thank you and the Reading Rotary Club once again for your generous donation to our school.
We have decided to use the funds to purchase a smart device.

This will allow us to take official photos and record videos of our school events and lessons, while ensuring better security and strict compliance with GDPR regulations for our school members.

Thank you once again for your wonderful support and generosity.
Warm regards,

정경선
