On behalf of Maria Rodrigues Aller Sanchez and Jorge Aller Sanchez, our Presidents of Rotary Club Barra da Tijuca, I would like to thank you and the members of Rotary Club of Reading for the wonderful warm welcome and hospitality extended to us this afternoon.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our lively conversation about Rotary Club, delicious meal, and getting to know other Club members. It was nice to hear about your Rotary Club activities and see how our activities are similar, despite the country differences.
We were impressed with your record of service, wisdom of past and current members to develop and maintain a constant source or revenue to be deployed to local and international projects. This is a dream for every Rotary Club - well done !
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to share information about our Rotary Club and plans for our 100th Anniversary. We would be truly honoured and very grateful if your International Committee elects to participate in our 100th Anniversary by celebrating Mr. Coates legacy and contributing to our Food Bank project. Reading and Rio celebrating 100th Anniversary together !

We are also grateful for having received the Centenary Anniversary Booklet and the very thoughtful and beautiful set of Reading Rotary Coasters which will be used with pride when enjoying a single malt and a cigar !
