Rotary park bench
The Rotary bench in the Thames
Promenade Park is restored and in place!
It was the old Caversham Rotary Club
that installed it in 2002 to mark the century of the Rotary movement but over
the years it had deteriorated badly. So our Club decided to mark our own
centenary by restoring it. Now, thanks especially to Immediate Past President
Roger Butler, it is in place and looking very smart.

Brunnen and Tim Metcalfe who reassembled the bench and Eric and Doreen Moyse
who had the honour of being first to sit on it.
An official opening will be held
shortly. All members of our Club should attend and invitations will be sent to
former members of Caversham Rotary Club.
