Update from our friends in Brazil

Introduction
Please find enclosed a PDF letter from our President Mr. Paulo Lanari Prado. He introduces us, confirms our re-appointment as Goodwill Ambassadors for Rotary Club of Rio de Janeiro, and mentions our recent Centennial Celebrations this past February.
News
We also have some news of our own. Please find enclosed a second PDF one-page letter with a couple of pictures which you may wish to circulate to fellow RC members showing:
- Mrs. Jennifer Jones, President Rotary International and Mrs. Maria Odete, President RC Rio de Janeiro holding the certificates after planting the “Friendship Tree” in the same spot where Paul Harris planted his tree in 1936 at the historic Botanic Garden of Rio de Janeiro founded by King John VI of Portugal in 1808.
- Ana and I receiving our Paul Harris Certificates and Pins from Mrs. Maria Odete, President RC Rio de Janeiro.
When we met last year, we were members of RC Barra da Tijuca. This past May, we transferred to RC Rio de Janeiro. In addition to our activities with the Food Bank Project, we have become involved with RC Rio de Janeiro Environmental and International Committees.
